A teacher has admitted that she became pregnant after having sex with her 15-year-old student.
The 30-year-old woman identified as Caroline Berriman from Oldham, Manchester, pleaded guilty to sexual activity with a child.
Berriman was ordered to pay fines and do community service. But the victim is upset she isn't going to jail after she "scarred him for life".
According to the teenager, the teaching assistant had sex with him over 50 times within a few months. The teenager said the teacher groomed him via Facebook for five months, before they started having sex.
The teenager also said that on some occasions, they had unprotected sex and at one point, Berriman told him that she was pregnant.
The boy's mother discovered that the two were having an inappropriate relationship and she reported it to the school. As a result, Berriman was suspended and later fired.
Berriman pleaded guilty to two counts of sexual activity with a child and sexual activity with a child in a position of trust.
She was sentenced to do 250 hours of community service and she was fined just $150.
