It’s always been known that the two aren’t best of friends, but their relationship took a turn for the worse this year, following Ikeji’s post on her blog, where she alleged that Wizkid had been served a quit notice from his Lekki residence in Lagos. Wizkid responded to her posts, by taking shots at her on social media. His rant got aggressive as he threatened to have her beaten, amongst accusing her of sleeping with his manager, which I must add I find absolutely hilarious.
“If I ever see you, I’ll get my 16 year old cousin to beat the shit out of you” – Wizkid on Linda Ikeji’s Instagram.
We can now confirm that Linda Ikeji has reported the threat to the Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Fatai Owoseni.
According to Nigerian Entertainment Today, a source with details revealed to them, that a s summon ha bene issued to Wizkid, with an invitation letter sent to the Surulere office of his manager,Sunday Are.
Now it is being said that if the two do not resolve their issue pre-litigation, Wizkid who has threatened to arrange for Linda to be physically abused, may face up to seven years in jail, if found guilty.
